The Melbourne Municipal Band has regular concerts, almost monthly, most of which are in the Melbourne Civic Auditorium, on Hibiscus Road, Melbourne.

Most of these concerts start at 7:30 PM except for indicated summer "Picnic" concerts that start at 6:30 PM. Swingtime Dances typically start at 8:00 PM. For picnic concerts in the summer, attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic supper and dine to the music of the Melbourne Municipal Band. These are NOT outdoor picnics; they are held inside the Melbourne Civic Auditorium in air-conditioned comfort.
